Warm shower, experimented with hair conditioner after washing face.

WTG and ATG passes.

This was a very encouraging shave!

Even this early in my straight-shaving career, I'm getting way better results than with the electric. Very smooth on the cheeks and mustache area. A little rough on the chinline and under the chin, but I'm still focusing on reduction there. (Still fighting that initial irritation.) I nicked myself a bunch on the chinline

, but happily none of them persisted after the final rinse.

I think for the time being, shaving the night before will be the best strategy...
