I'm one of those rarities here as well I think. I wear no cologne. I also am sensitive to scents as I've rarely liked the perfume or cologne that others have worn. I'm in sales, and rule #1 is: Don't stink. As part of that rule, what may be a pleasant scent to me and those I'm close to, may smell awful to a prospective client. I'm there to gain clients.
One guy I hired about 5 years ago poured on cologne so strongly I could literally taste it (no joke), and his cologne would fill an entire room for hours after he was gone. He lasted two weeks.
I rub the alum block under my arms after each shave and shower and occasionally I'll put a dab of pure lime essential oil (that I use in my home made pre-shave oil) under my arms which is almost not noticeable and has a very low probability of being offensive to even sensitive people.
