my hands on hobby is making dreamcatchers. I've got one that I made from a grapevine wreath and a coon tail.

I also design my own walking sticks, I have to use them, so why have a boring stick? I've made one that looks like a large peace pipe, using a clay pipe bowl for the grip,and rabbit fur, beads and feathers for decoration. My Endocrinologist took one look at it and asked if it was for smoking or for walking lol. Unfortunately it isn't hollow, so it's just for walking.

My current one will be a combination fishing rod/ walking stick. The hold-up at the moment is working out the logistics of the reel seat.I have cut out a portion of the wood, where the reel should be placed, but the stays are the big hold-up. I'm thinking of finding someone to weld a large washer to a bolt and then just using a nut on the bottom to clamp the whole thing down. I have had someone suggest just simplifying things and use a couple of hose clamps, but I want it to look decent. lol. The cane I'm using for the fishing pole is the straight one with the walnut gearshift knob leaning against the door.
