Default 1st prize

My 1st prize arrived yesterday and here's a picture of it. Not trying to rub it in, just doing some sharing with you guys
Shaved with the razor, the brush and the cream, finished with the Limes skin food - rather nice shave.
The brush is nice and stiff, yet soft, I'd probably pick it over many badger brushes. However it already is on its way to another member to help out a person in need.
I like the tabac shaving cream. I've been trying few english creams recently and since I lather on my face I found it somewhat more challenging than the old soap way. Tabac being not as dense worked a whole lot better. I may keep it
The razor is nice and sharp - I was warned that it may be a bit too sharp, so I was paying attention to my technique and not just doing the usual autopilot thing. Yes it's sharp razor, not the stiffest edge, but not he most flexible either. Didn't go for complete BBS, but it's very close. A bit closer than the side I used to test another razor on, but a very slight irritation as well. Was fun going ATG on the toughest spots on my face too Nice razor, nice honing
Limes skin food is not bad at all, but I do prefer the coral.
Finally I sniffed the wilkinson soap - hmm did nivea made it - it smells nice, but I've grown to like more the more natural smelling stuff, so this one will probably go to a newbie. I liked better the way th VDH soap smells - a note of sandalwood it seems - barbershop like. Will have to try them out and see how they lather.

Anyways, thanks a lot Ookla for the generous donation, Bill (and all the other mods) for organizing it and the rest for cheering up for me (you did want me to win, didn't you ).
