Here is a Le Grelot in Carbon Fiber done up for a member here. The wedge is actually G10 Micarta which offers a slight contrast. Pictures really say it all! I had a hell of a time centering the blade! The grind on this razor was waaaaay off. I mean the scales were perfect in terms of anything which would make a razor close off-center and I tried everything to help it. No dice. So finally I resorted to reshaping the inside of one scale to help the closing angle which finally did the trick (not without much frustration in itself). It actually really bugs me although I did a decent job of hiding the asymmetrical wear on the two scale sides. I'm just a perfectionist like that. Wonder if a lot of these Le Grelots are off like that? I'd rather never rescale another lol. Anyway it turned out really well. The last pic is in there just to show how it shines in natural sunlight.
