Honing tutorial on the back burner.
This past few days I have had a few inquiries about a honing tutorial for Japanese razors. (Guess that must have something to do with JWW getting in the Iwasaki's )
I had started to work on one, but it has been put on the back burner for now. I have a lot of stuff on my plate at the moment, with work, and other hobbies. I also am trying to finish honing a bunch of razors I restored and to share all those honing adventures with you all and believe me, I have lots of stories already Move over shave journal. After that I still got more razors waiting to be restored and between all that I have been asked if I can compare pure camellia oil with the diluted stuff most people are using at the moment. But thats a whole other story.
The reason I can't just write up a quick tutorial is, I am the type of person who can do all different things, but when it comes to explaining/teaching, I really struggle.
It will require a lot of time for me to do it properly and make it so everyone can understand, and learn from it.
Please except my apologies, I guess I got some people's hopes up when I said I would do a tutorial. I imagine that the Iwasaki razors will just need to be stropped and should be good to go (I could be mistaken), and the Tosuke razors that I sell come shave ready. So with that in mind, giving me a few months to sort my sh!t out shouldn't be a problem.....Right!?
Thanks for your understanding guys.
