Default The Joys of Proraso ASB

I'm just back from nearly six weeks in Costa Rica. I didn't use my Proraso products because I like my scents to match: shave soap, aftershave, deodorant. The deodorant I use with the Proraso soap and splash wasn't effective in the hot climate, so I used C&E Sienna Exclusively (great stuff). I just finished shaving with my Feather AC DX, and needed a little burn relief (only the 2nd shave on the blade, but it wasn't cutting as well as it should have). I splashed on the Proraso Splash, sucked in a breath of air and said OMG! What a nice burn. I followed that up with Proraso ASB, and now have a super smooth face, and a nice scent in my nostrils. Settling back with a second cup-pa home-roasted coffee and getting ready to enjoy the rest of the day. All those years of work just may have been worth it...

Yes, I love the feeling too. I've recently discovered the joys of using Proraso Preshave straight after the shave -- that really starts to cool the face down. And then using Proraso AS balm over that and wallop! It's almost like being slapped in the face by a frozen peppermint bush!

The balm and splash combo of Proraso are the best IMO. Nothing can come close to the refreshing scent of the splash and the calm and soothing feeling of the balm.

Cool

I haven't tried the splash yet, but I really like the Pre-Post on super dry days. For "normal" dry days the ASB (liquid cream) is superb. Great products.
