Default L'Occitane CADE A/S SPLASH

Hey all,

I've read the reviews for the balm but I was wondering what people thought about the SPLASH?

I have sensitive/dry skin and I use Thayers Lavender and finish off with Nivea's balm but I would also like a Splash that's safe for sensitive skin and smells good. Should CADE Splash be avoided?

Thanks

I've used it a couple times and found that it does not provide much, if any, moisture to the skin. It smells good, though. The moisturizing splashes I've used and liked are Proraso, Swiss Pitralon, Speick (only slightly moisturizing), and Musgo Real (which is moisturizing to the point of being sticky).

Definitely not for sensitive skin. It's supposed to be "stimulating", and I may be wrong, but I thought that I saw capsicum (pepper oil) as an ingredient.
The ASB is great though.

*edit* They don't list ingredients on the us page, but they do on the Canadian one.

The 2nd to last ingredient is Capsicum annuum

Nice link. The US site did display the ingredients a long time ago. I wonder why that stopped?

Anyway, it lists propylene glycol as an ingredient which is an humectant moisturizer just like glycerin. It's pretty high up on the list too so it suggests it's a moisturizing splash. As usual though ymmv.

Regards,
EL
