that friodur is 4/8 correct?
not sure what you mean by 'slight unevenness on the incision' - chips on the edge? if so i can't see that level of detail on your pictures.

That's a shame about the chip on the one razor near the tip.
I had one of my first shave ready razors (honed by me!) years ago chip this way, but I couldn't bear to get rid of it, so I just sharpened what was left. I do need to round the edges on it though, so it will be easier on the strop.

Two VERY small dents on the edge. Not exactrly chips, since the metal is still present. Just mentioning them to be correct.

I think it's a 6/8, the blade is 1.7cm wide.

he-he, yes they are chips alright

not terribly bad, though, but I haven't honed a friodur to know how hard they are....

and yeah such a shame about the tally-ho

I have a razor with a crack that way that I've been wondering what to do about after getting rid of the metal at the point - perhaps just shortening the blade.

1.7cm is just over 5/8, I guess will be 5/8 once the chip is honed out. Thanks!
