Swaty on ebay

I am trying to find a small hone to touch up my Wapi. I found this swaty, all beat up mind you, but I wanted to get y'alls opinion. Vintage Pike Swaty Hone w/ Box - eBay (item 180265692045 end time Jul-22-08 15:42:08 PDT)

Anyways, if you have any other thoughts

or ideas on what could work...hollar

Swaty's are great for touching up razors, I use mine as a finishing stone.

I have to say though, I've never seen one with those markings. It also says it's made by Pike, so I don't think that's a real Swaty. But if I'm wrong, please someone, correct me.

Interesting. It says American Swaty and manufactured by Pike rather than imported by Pike. Pike must have capitalized on the Swaty name in marketing that hone.

With shipping, that hone would start at a total of $16. If you do bid, I would not recommend going much higher since I don't think it's worth much more than $20. If you place a WTB on the BST forum looking for a fine grit barber hone lapped and ready to go, I bet you'll get some help.

I've got to spend more time on SRP to keep up on these changing events. Wait, my wife says I spend way too much time on SRP as it is. Aye, the eternal tug of war continues!!
