What do I do with this?

My W&B has a little bit of an issue with it. On the front of the blade, both the spine and the tip (sharp end) of the blade sit very flat on the hone and the entire blade feels very stable.

With the back side of the blade on the hone, the blade feels like a table at a cheap diner. Only 3 out of 4 points ever touch the hone. The spine at the heel of the blade and the tip at the point of the blade always make contact. It rocks 'back and left ' and 'front and right'. Hope that last bit makes sense to more people than just me.

Not sure if the pictures really show this or not, but here goes:

This produces a very odd rocking motion when I attempt to hone this blade. Any suggestions? I can come up with two (what I think are) reasonable methods to resolve:

1. remove some material from the spine at the heel. I would do this by doing laps on my 4k with only the spine touching.
2. remove material from the tip of the blade by excessive honing.

I think I prefer #1 at this time.

Please help.

Is it normal to have to use the rolling x on just one side of the blade?

Can't tell much from your photos but I have a few old Sheffields, both W&B and Jos. Rodgers, that are warped and I have had to adjust my stroke to compensate. It is a PITA but it is doable. Best of luck with it.
