Strangely enough, some of us have not only gotten used to the smell of a wet badger but quite look forward to it, just like new car smell!
To be honest, I don't do anything other than use the brush. I find the smell goes away after a week or sometimes two.
Now, if you had a brand new Boars hair brush, you would have my full sympathy as those things sometimes smell like it's the hair around the.... well, lets just say it doesn't smell like it's from the
front of the boar.
A mild shampoo... baby shampoo is great or soak for a few minutes in a mug of water with a tsp of borax will help somewhat but just plain ol' using it will suffice with a badger hair brush.

Christian
