The Chinese are not known for their acts of "humanity" and concern for human rights nor comfort. I am not surprised by any allogations of animal cruelty. These are the same people who used to bind the feet of female children and the disconcern for human rights in Tibet has become very well published. I saw last week a documentary regarding the surprisingly widespread kidnapping and selling of children in China.

I honestly don't see this discussion going anywhere productive. The question has been asked and answered. If you want a "fur" ethics discussion, take it up in "The Conversation" but keep it civil, respectful and gentlemanly.
