Smile "Smoking" Soap from Mama Bear

Thanks to the mail running so slow lately this soap took forever to get here (about a week longer than usual) and let me tell you it was well worth the wait.

I like the container it comes in. It's large enough I can load my brush with no problems and to date I have only been using Col Conk which I had to melt into a coffee mug. The scent is nice in the tub. It smells very clean (like soap, go figure) with hints of tobacco and leather (very masculine, I think.) Then scent changed slightly when I used it, and it got even better. It lathers very well and feels wonderful when applied to the skin. I was really surprised at the shave. I am still using a DE as I wait for my first straight to arrive. With the first stroke it almost felt as though I have forgotten to put a blade in my razor. No pulling what so ever, but I could hear the hair being popped off my face. It was a very enjoyable experience. I lathered up for another two passes (XTG and ATG) and ended up with a really good and close shave. Splashed a bit of cold water on and then ventured out for the REAL test of a scented soap. My two evaluators (my wife and daughter) gave the scent very high marks saying they liked the it very much. My daughter said, "You smell like a Daddy." She was smiling when she said it, so I took it as a good thing. All in all, I am very pleased with the product and would recommend it to anyone. Now that I have tried them, I think Topher was very wise in including MB soaps in his kits as it will only add to the pleasurable experience of shaving especially for newbs like me. Thank you Mama Bear for the outstanding product. You will definitely be seeing more of my money in the future.

Added: The slow shipping was due to an increase in USPS packages coming to my location and had nothing to do with Mama Bear.

Looks similar... will review when I get it... smoking soap sounds good too though!
