DR Harris Arlington Shave Soap

More and more I find myself reaching for the high-end hard shaving soaps. DR Harris Arlington soap is up there with the best of them. It has a crisp citrus scent. Its easy to lather and provides great cushion and lubricity. The soap also allows plenty of feedback through the blade. I think I paid about $15 for a refill. Try this soap if you get a chance - you'll be glad you did. I'm going to pick up some of their Lavender soap next.

I also use the Arlington, and I am very pleased with it.

It's lovely soap; Harris Marlboro is good too. I've managed to get by on three soaps in my 4 month born-again shaving career; the two Harrises and Mitchell Wool Fat. Don't feel any need to increase the herd yet.

Heh....you said "lubricity".

I think you were combining the words "lubrication" and "viscosity". Lubrication would be the proper term.

Side note: Where could one find this soap? Where'd you buy yours?

At first I thought "lubricity" (lubrication sounds so...mundane) was a creation of the shaving forums, but surprise...

I got my Harris soap at Pasteur Pharmacy in NYC. I think Jim at Vintage Blades carrys it though.
