De Vergulde Hand Shave Soap
I finally got my hands on a this soap. DVH is a hard soap with a very mild "cologne" type scent. I can't really describe the scent, but its kind of "old timey".
The soap lathered easily and was very slick. I've only used it once, but the quality of the lather reminded me of Tabac a little.
If you can find it, grab some.

It's available pretty much all over holland in Soap form. The Cream type however is a little more difficult to get. I've helped people get some before but I don't care for the scent myself.
It's decent shaving stuff though.

Yes, I've seen that its available in Europe, but being a fairly inexpensive soap, the cost of shipping made getting it in the US prohibitive. I got mine at TSD, but I don't know how much they have left.

It's only about 2 euro's a puck here. Now shipping to the US (without the plastic container can't be more than a euro or 2-3. So I'd say somewhere around 4-6 euro's=$7-9?

I haven't looked in a while, but I seem to recall the Dutch Shaving Shop charging a lot more for shipping - I may have been looking at several of the DVH products.

That might be because they charge shipping AND handling?
What does a puck of soap, a plastic container and an envelope weigh? Around 200 grams? 300 maybe?
Quoting the local postal service website priority shipping up to 500 grams is 5,25 euro's and standard shipping is 4,20 euros. So I might have miscalculated. But up to 500 grams I bet you could at least order 2 pucks.

I have used Vergulde Hand soap a lot in the past but found it dries up really quickly on the face and it gave me more razor burn than Palmolive or Gilette shaving cream. I did not know Vergulde Hand do a cream as well, I have only seen the spray can stuff next to the shaving soap,
