This is the only soap that I use after trying several varieties, including Mitchell's Wool Fat and Col. Conk's. It has a great, fresh fragrance -- so nice, in fact, that I wish they made an aftershave. It used to be called "Oakmoss with Mint," but now it's just called "Aloe Vera." A puck of this soap will last nearly a year, and it's only $7.95 at Nashville Knife Shop HERE. It lathers very nicely on my face or in a bowl. Usually, I add a few drops of glycerine for extra lubrication, but it's really not necessary. Unless you like a real sweet or flowery fragrance, I think you'll like this soap.
