11/16 Thistle Cut “Damascus Blade” with Worked Back– Shave Ready
Here is a 11/16 Thistle Cut razor with a logo that says “Damascus Blade” on the face of the blade. I am not really sure who they are trying to fool with this title (because this is not real Damascus) but the razor did take a really great edge as quality Thistle Cut razors do. The scales are faux bamboo and are in great condition and the spine of this razor has a cool and unique worked design. I think that the pictures show that this is a really clean but not perfect vintage razor; if you have any specific questions then let me know. This razor was honed with a full Norton 4K, Belgian Blue, Belgian Yellow, Vintage Escher, Nakayama Maruka progression and is shave ready. Pending.

Here are the pictures. The line that goes from the front to the middle of the blade is a reflection of the oil, not a mark in the steel.

Yes, it's true - it would be nice to be able to change thread titles, especially after an item is sold. Ever wade through the B/S/T hoping that the razor in the title from last week is still for sale?

A 1/16 razor would definitely be a trip. Just how sharp an edge could you put on a toothpick?
... Sounds like a fun project...

Cool razor! I'm betting that at one point early in its life it was a member of a 7 day set. I have a worked back Weltmeister (German Worldmaster) that is very similar and has the same elongated oval in the center of the back. My Weltmeister has MONDAY clearly indicated within that same type of oval.

I have seen quality razors on ebay that started their life as a normal size and were honed down to about 1-2/16ths This one does not fall into that category
