Newbie specials (
Here are some newbie specials for you guys. Either one can come with a basic piece of latigo for stropping for an extra $15.
First up is a B Shannon HDWE Co., made in Philadelphia. It's 5/8, looks like 1/2 hollow. A bit waterstained, and some pits here or there, but otherwise great shape. Blade edge is in great shape, just honed. Scales are good, pins are tight, SHAVE READY. $25 shipped CON-US.
Next is a 6/8 Luna by Lunawerk, made in Solingen Germany, with a neat thumb holder. It sayd 6/8's on it, but it's more like 11/16ths. Almost waterstain and pit free, with some scratches here in there, but very mirror-shiney most the way around. Scales are great, but pins were in bad shape so I re-pinned them with new rod and new washers. About as long as a regular razor, but because of the ergonomical thumb rest, the cutting edge is actually a few eights of an inch shorter then most razors. Looks phenominal.
