Dovo "Classic Black", 5/8" and TM Artisan Latigo
Hi SRP,
Dovo "Classic Black", 5/8"
First I'm selling a Dovo "Classic Black", 5/8". I used the blade 4 times and that's all I took, I was hooked. I figured why wait and after the 4th shave I picked up a Red Bismarck (Fantastic Razor) and a 3" TM Latigo. The blade was honed by Lynn Abrams and is therefore shave ready. If that isn't convincing enough, the fact that it took me only 4 shaves to get hooked should be . After each use the blade was rinsed off and lightly greased with mineral oil, since I shave about every 3-4 days, and is therefore in great condition except for a few water marks which can be polished out if you have the time. The blade is completely rust free, the blade is centered and the pins are tight. Unlike most of the people here, I never caught RAD and therefore only need one razor and one strop . Overall, if youre new to straight razor shaving and want to get into the game, this is a great razor to start. The pics of the razor are attached and can be seen below. Asking $50 Shipped CONUS. Razor will be shipped disinfected and greased to preserve it during travel.

That's a great razor strap - I have the same model and it's a stunningly smooth, consistent, and responsive stretch of leather

Hmmm.... far as I can know, I was the first to PM. Never got a response. Next thing I see, it's sold?

Sometimes someone will send a PM in and not post that they did. Then you will see it SOLD and wonder why.

Mike,
Yes, I'm cool with that. But if you look at the timing, I was pretty quick to respond. Then over 24 hours later -- without ever responding to my PM -- it's "sold".
Pretty rude, I thought.
Another Mike

Indeed...the first person to PM was actually me, without posting that I had done so. After seeing that two newer guys had posted saying they sent PMs, I PMed again and stood aside. Rival thanked me for doing so and that was the last I heard. I assumed that it had gone to RetroGrouch , but only Rival knows the order the PMs were received in for sure. Just PM and ask what happened, I'm sure he didn't skip over anyone intentionally.....

I didn't intend for this to turn into a big discussion. Just venting my frustration (and living up to my handle?) B&S isn't that complicated, just common courtesy really.
And I didn't PM him again, as I didn't get a response to my last one.
No big deal, I'm over it. Let's let it drop.

One of these days in your travels, a guy is going to show you a brand-new deck of cards on which the seal is not yet broken. Then this guy is going to offer to bet you that he can make the jack of spades jump out of this brand-new deck of cards and squirt cider in your ear. But, son, do not accept this bet, because as sure as you stand there, you're going to wind up with an ear full of cider.
