Hehe, I'm smiling as I type........hoping I haven't forever tainted the buy/sell forum with this offering. Normally I'd take these elsewhere, but what the hell..........let's see what happens here first.
For sale are two slims, both in good condition. Dates are I1 (1963 first quarter), and J1 (first quarter 1964), and no brassing or pitting on either of em. The black on the #'s is pretty much gone on these, and the razor heads and handles still shine nicely. Both are in very good mechanical shape, and the blade looks to be lined up properly on both sides of the razors. Sorry I can't take any pics, but I'll be glad to take these back if the condition isn't as described. In addition, I'll even return your money as well!!!!!!!! Hahaha.......couldn't resist that. The razors should make excellent everyday (oops, I meant 'rainy' day') shavers. Not in mint condition, but far from junk.
The price for each is $15, and that'll include paypal fees and US shipping. Yeah, it's kind of a low price, but I bought these right. I'll also toss in a few blades if you need em to start with. Please respond with a pm to me, rather than in the forum. Hehehe, plus anyone who may buy these will save themselves some grief that way. The razors will be cleaned with hot water and scrubbing bubbles, and lightly oiled.
Let me just mention that these are one of the more desirable adjustable models, and I think it would be a very good one to start with. I used a slim for months, and quite enjoyed it. Oh, that wasn't a sales pitch, but some of you may not be familiar with a gillette.
I'll leave this here for a day, and if no interest, then I'll remove this distasteful thread.
