Ho hum...
Yaawwnn *strettchh*
So, what did you think of McCains speech? I think if Palin continues to have the momentum that she has, she will be the only thing keeping this ticket afloat!

Warning: conspiracy theory: Maybe Palin was who they wanted all along.
If McCain dies of 'natural causes' after his inauguration... well... he was already an old man.

she's everything McCain isn't, period. I think they made a brilliant move taking her as potential VP, she complementary to him, so now almost everything people are looking for is united in this team.
I still wouldn't vote for the republicans because I think she talks way too conservative to my likings.

I still don't think I'll be voting for McCain, even with Palin on board. Even if I hope against hope she has to take the reins, I bet he'll still hold on for a few years anyway.

I think Palin is hot.
Seriously. All that outdoorsy spirit, hockey mum stuff. With her looks and her bossy style.
Yep, ticks all my boxes!

Heh, no kidding. My father in law called me the other day and goes "what do you think of this Palin lady?" I said straight off "I think she's hot!"

I like her, unfortunately he's the one at the top of the ticket. So, it's more of the same, with the *possibility* of a real conservative, but only as VP.
Switch the two and I think Palin McCain would win by a landslide. Unfortunately we seem cursed to choose between a left-leaning globalist and a more-left leaning globalist (both patting each other on the back for "reaching across the aisle") and nobody truly an option in the other direction.
A candidate who really means what he or she says would be refreshing from either party. Neither of the presidential candidates so far fit this description.
Palin McCain...
we could dream. It's time to bring back some "tell it like it is" people to the white house. We've not had any of those in quite a long time.

Why McCain at all?
I kept hearing last night that he is a war hero and a lifelong servant of the USA, but I must have dozed off when he gave the reasons I should vote him in as President. Unless that was the part where he promised that he would get America moving in the right direction again (I've read horoscopes that were more specific than that!)

Yea I like where he says he's the enemy of the lobbyist's. What a joke. His whole campaign is run by these guys and hes been involved with these guys his whole career. What about that savings and loan crook. Yes I know it wasn't Mccain's fault he was bambusaled by the guy. That's his Willie Horton.
And palin's speech where she says parents of special needs children have a friend in her. Another bad joke. She cut 62 million bucks from the Alaska budget for err special needs education.

It is suspected the razor is haunted.

Yeah it was a little light on why McCain, may be they meant to be 'why not?'. That is a viable strategy for winning - you only need to present yourself slightly better than your opponent, or your opponent slightly worse than you.
I was a little concerned with his promise to create jobs and subsidize businesses. Not conservative in my book.

I suspect back then she didn't have a child with special needs so she could take a conservative stance and leave the burden with the families, not the society. Things change...
