Remember Today, Remember Those Lost, Remember Our Country
In your travels today remember those who serve us. Give a Police Officer or Fire Fighter a wave or thumbs up, buy a cup of coffee for that Soldier in line in front of you at lunch. We are free to enjoy our day, and our lives because of their brave actions. They take care of us every day, lets take care of them too and let them know we still remember.
Tony

My wife gained her citizenship on 11 Sep '02
It's a wonderful reminder for her and I
I'm so thankful for those who dedicate their lives for the service of the rest of us, and on this day especially for the public servants who choose to be the front line against dangers to public safety
thanks!

Remember the victims on the planes and in the buildings who died at the hands of those who would use fear as a weapon to hurt you.
Remember the heroes who went knowingly to their deaths or injury in the aftermath, so that they could save as many lives as they could.
Remember the nation that forgot its petty bickering and stood united, however briefly.
Remember the politicians who have since used fear to steal your freedom at every turn.
Remember.

One of the most remarkable things I remember about Sept 11m, was that for a number of days afterwards people that you would meet at the supermarket, or wherever, were so incredibly nice. It was really quite noticeable.
It was also such an absolutely nice day outside (here in Boston, as well as NYC), perfect blue, blue sky. To this day, whenever the weather is like that, I immediately think about that particular morning.

For those families that lost somebody on 9/11 I pray. For those that have or are currently serving overseas, and for those soldiers that have fallen, we are indebted to you and honor all that you have done. I will never forget.

I had my back surgery on that exact day. What a life changing date for sure.

I remember that morning so clearly - I was at a friends house, and woke up early. We turned on the TV, and were watching right after the first plane hit. I'll never forget the astonishment and awe I felt seeing the second plane hit.
On September 11th this year, the day will go down as one of the most important days of my life - it is second only to the day that I married my wife. We just had our first child, at exactly 8:00 in the morning, Sept. 11, 2008. Hailey Marie Rivenbark was born weighing 7.2 lbs and 18.5 inches long. She has her mother's hair, my toes, and is absolutely beautiful.
We might get our cheeks baby butt smooth, but I promise that none of us will EVER be able to get our cheeks baby butt soft!!!
To commemorate, I shaved with my very first straight - a Dovo 6/8, with proraso and a few drops of glycerine. One of the best shaves I've ever had - absolutely zero sting from the styptic pencil, and, well, baby butt smooth!!
