ABC News: Brave Few Plan to Ride Out Ike
The local stations in Houston have been nonstop Ike for several days now. We were so well prepared here that I couldn't find any gasoline yesterday morning because we have been repeatedly warned to have a full tank, "just in case". I find that kind of disturbing because I really don't want to run out of gas while fleeing the 20 ft tidal wave we are also being warned about

. I did get to hear an interview with an elderly evacuee who let us know that her dog was so good that he did both of his duties outside the center. I just think we are getting way too much information here.
