TIllotson's Co. Sheffield England 1830-1859 so this is an oldie.. This is the last of 4 Sheffield's that I restored over the last week or so... These all started in less than fantastic shape

A Tillotson's Celebrated Wedge
It took some buffing with the grease-less compounds and polishing compound to get the the finish back to here.. I manged to keep the Eagle engraving on the face of the blade although it is a little muted...I had waited until I got in the new acrylics for some of these... I really tried to catch the light though the scales but basically the pics came out looking off white

They have goldish swirls though out also, they don't really look like Natural Ivory but they do have a nice look to them.... I used Nickel Silver pins and #0 SS washers for the hardware...
The razor balances to the tang..

Please remember your history,
in 1776 there was a Revolutionary War fought over,
"Taxation without Representation" let's try not to repeat that...
