The Monterey Week (Historic Races and Concours)

Anyone here going to be at the Monterey Historic races or other events this year? My dad brother and I are going to the races, and might do the "dawn patrol" at pebble beach.
For anyone who's into classic cars, this is probably the best event in the US.

I'm going to the Historic races Saturday and the RM auction Saturday evening. Sadly, with an estimate selling price of $3,700,000 to $4,200,000, this is about $3,699,000 to $4,199,000 out of my price range.

I've been to the Historics every year for the last several years. It's a great event, where you can get up right up to amazing cars (in the open pits) and watch them race. Highly recommended for vintage car enthusiasts.

this is a bit more my style, but your ferrari looks like an outstanding choice as well. If only there were unlimited amounts of $$ for both of us.

We should schedule a time to meet, i've never met a SRP member face to face. I have been 2004 by myself, 2005/6 with dad and brother, did not make it last year, this year again will be with dad and brother.

Well the event was absolutely wonderful as always!
Not sure where else you can go that the Econolodge has 3 Ferrari's and Holliday Inn has an F40 out front.
Got to see Pebble Beach Concours "Dawn Patrol", new Corvette ZR1 and a whole host of other stuff.
Met Steve on Saturday, perfectly shaved and impeccably dressed as expected. I was sort of feeling like a hobo due to having to shave with a Gillette Fusion (didn't want to check baggage).
