One of these days in your travels, a guy is going to show you a brand-new deck of cards on which the seal is not yet broken. Then this guy is going to offer to bet you that he can make the jack of spades jump out of this brand-new deck of cards and squirt cider in your ear. But, son, do not accept this bet, because as sure as you stand there, you're going to wind up with an ear full of cider.

You my friend, are a hero. I was just looking for a deal like this, I found this Morocho Churchill (with free Humidor)
But that is a bunch of the same, and a decent humidor.
Thanks for sharing a great find!

Thanks for pointing that out. You can also get that same humidor free if you put in a web order of $125 or more. Or, there are a number of samplers that come with humidors as well. A really great site, IMO.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone else ordered this?
I put in my order yesterday around noon. Typically, an order placed before 3 PM ships the same day. Also, the "my account" section of their website updates itself when the order has shipped and provides a tracking number. But today, as of now (noonish), it still says processing. Perhaps I'm just a bit impatient, but I'm wondering if it's going to ship...

I just called them, and the guy's first response was to tell me it was on backorder. A few seconds later (after I told him it said in stock when I ordered), he told me they just had to put the package together at the warehouse. It should ship today or tomorrow. Quite frankly, I don't know how they can offer same day shipping on orders placed before 3 but still take 2 to 3 days to get 8 cigars and a humidor together... I guess I shouldn't complain too much since my previous orders have gotten out same day and I live close enough that standard shipping arrives the next day.

I'm assuming it's a legal issue, not one of distance. I know a guy who runs a meadery, and he told me he had to get a lisence or some such for each state within the US he wanted to ship mead to. I can only imagine that international shipping must be that much more annoying. CI probably has to fly shipments to Alaska instead of going by ground.

I placed my order in on 9/2/2008 it was in process until today 9/5/2008.
They generated a tracking number (via UPS I think) today. I am assuming it ships out today and I will probably receive the package by next week.
Hope that helps...

Woohoo. The order is listed as completed, and UPS tracking reports that they have recieved billing information. Orders from CI always arrive at my house the next day via standard shipping; UPS showed a next day delivery when I checked the transit time on their website, but I was skeptical until it actually happened...twice in a row. Hopefully the package will go out today and arrive in time for the weekend.
EDIT: Weak sauce; it seems UPS, unlike USPS, does not deliver on Saturdays, so I'll have to wait till Monday.

I have been using CI for some time. You can get some killer deals now and then. I have a good 400 sticks in my humi and all but a hundred or so came from CI.

Mine came today. I found that I didn't get each cigar in the size listed, but I'm not going to nitpick. It was a great deal, and I'm very happy with what was delivered. I was a little surprised that the cigars were shipped in the humidor (which was not at humidity), but they were in a plastic bag. Smoked the Vegas Gold; while it may have been a touch drier than I liked, the smooth draw made up for the slightly faster burn.
Again, big thanks to Amyn for posting the deal. I hope yours arrive soon as well.

I got my box today too... also had a go at the Vegas Gold. The cigar was ok but I was great deal for sure. I also order a 10pack or Rocky Patel Vintage Toro @$35, I cannot wait to try one of those. I had the Torpedo from the Vintage 90 and it was an awesome smoke...

As far as I know, you wet the sponge inside it, let any excess drip out, and stick it in.

QO is absolutely right. Also, I opted not to attach my humidifier to the humidor. I prefer to be able to move it around the inside as needed (to fit/rearrange cigars) and take it out when it needs more juice.
