Grats. Having just started grad school myself, I recently shared your elation. Then classes started. Then student teaching started. Then I had to go to bed at 10:30 and wake up at 6:30. Then I didn't have time for a job. Now I have no life.

You just wait until you have kids...
22:30 to 06:30 is luxury
Usually for me it is 00:00 to 06:15

Kids are not something that I am planning on. I'm looking at a career in teaching, so those hundred or so kids will be plenty.

There are plus sides, don't get me wrong. Group work outside of class typically takes place at a bar; after class happy hour happens at least once a week, drinking in the afternoon becomes acceptable (how else will you get enough sleep?), and your fellow classmates will bitch and moan with you (maybe bringing bitching and moaning to a new level). Plus, there is always the light at the end of the tunnel, namely the career you will be starting after grad school.
