Talking My cheap go-to cigar

I was just woundering if any of you fine chaps have ever tried the National Brand toro?.They are cheap at about $1.76(if I remember right) or $44 .00 a bundle of 25.They have a slight flavored cap, burn quite even and produce a great long ash.Try them for your yard mowing, truck building chew on cigar.(This thread may belong else where, sorry)

I will have to try that one...where could i buy it? cigars international?
my favorite on the affordable area is without a doubt PUNCH RARE COROJO , it has a very redish tasty corojo wrapper, you can get a box of 25 churchill size for $75 if i remember well, thats around $3 per stick....i have paid 6 times as much for a cigar getting very disappointed , it is very consistent and they develop very well in the humi.
Please try them, really worth it.
Be well and thanks for the recomendation.
Sergio

I haven't had the National, I'd also be interested in hearing where they can be had.

My go-to preference at the moment is a Sancho Panza Double Maduro. I got a box of 20 "La Mancha" size (which is about the size of a corona) for something like $35 at CI. My next box will likely be some Rockey Patel Fumas or Indian Tabac Super Fuerte maduros, just to mix it up a little.

EDIT: My bad, the Sancho's actually came in a box of 20...I got my counts confused.

Default cigars

Thanks for the tip. I use to smoke 25+ cigars a week, before the yuppies drove the price up in the mid 90's
I now am down to 4 or 5 a week. The price of good cigars has fallen almost in half in the past few years. Lot of good buys out threre for two or three dollars a stick. I get my turds from Thompson's cigars. You can google them for their web site. They have several that are a buck that sold for $5 each when it was in fashion. DS
