Default New gun!

So I went to the gun show and was bad...I found a good deal on a Hi-Point 9mm carbine with a scope and bought it! I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but I'm excited! I also picked up a 10 round mag for my pistol

Otherwise, it was a boring show. A lot of overpriced crap to be honest. I saw some really ****ty sks's going for a ton of money. On the flip side, there were some really cool guns there. I saw a calico for the first time and fondled a sweet Sig.

I think I'll be going to the Wanenmacher when it comes up just so I can see some good products, though I'm done with shopping (unless I see some amazingly killer, I gotta buy it now deal).

I haven't had a chance with the carbine yet (nowhere to shoot where I'm at). However, if it's anything like my pistol, I'd say everything you've heard is bunk. People make fun of it until I outshoot them with Blazers and they're using Glocks with good ammo.

Yeah, I've never had any problems out of my Hi-Point C9. Shot probably 600 rounds out of it with Wolf ammo and no FTF or any other issues.

I like the flame-thrower...a true multi-tasker Alton Brown would love: kills it, skins it, cooks it.

But do they come in designer colors?

Well, I was finally able to put some rounds through it, and I must say I'm impressed! I sent 150 rounds down range with zero problems, and it was very consistent. I can't wait until I can sight it in properly, and possibly change out the stock on it to make it look like a Beretta Storm

If you're looking for something to plink or varmint with, I highly recommend this gun. It's just plain fun to shoot!
