New Custom, Sheffield/Solingen Inspired
Finished this "little guy" over the weekend and have been enjoying it quite a bit thus far.
Stats: Just under 9/8, 1095 blade steel, ~14 degree bevel, Bolivian Rosewood scales, Stainless pins and spacer, Briwax finish on the scales.
(Have I ever mentioned that I like big blades with big smiles? I do. )

WOW! The razor doesn't look that big when it's sheathed by the scales, but that last photo let's you see that wide grin.
Another nice feature is the shoulderless grind.

wow, just wow
I see you are in Wichita as well. I'm up in KC. I might need to make a trip down there and spend some time in the forge, I would love to see the whole process in person.

HA!
That was exactly my same reaction: first pics, the razor looks quite nice, but not too out of the ordinary....
And then BAM! He opens it up and out comes Goliath!
Very nice. Clean lines, cool thumbnotch.

Wow that is super cool. I love the shape of the tang/blade. The scales are beautiful. I like he way the pins are peened. The wax finish looks classy.
Great design and execution. WOW
