Filarmonica 14 with walnut/myrtle scales
This 7/8 Filarmonica has get new scales from me. The scales are from myrtle wood with a wegde from walnut burl. Unfurtunately the sawblade this time breakes very often, so I dont reached a absolutely clean straight cut. But I think it is not so bad. It is handmade and no cutted with a laser and this is in this case visible.
The wood is coated with shellack.

Very nice. I really like this combination of woods, it gives one "je ne sais quoi" to the razor that's excellent. One day, I'll have to try your method...
Keep up the good work, it is a pleasure for the eye.

Very nice indeed - the shape really inspires fluidity and the finish looks excellent.

Super Job!
With all of the beautiful wood and other material available, it's time that we get to see more than the edge of the wedge.
I hope this starts a trend!

Very nice. Even if you don't use a laser, it don't get no better than that. Very good work.

One of these days in your travels, a guy is going to show you a brand-new deck of cards on which the seal is not yet broken. Then this guy is going to offer to bet you that he can make the jack of spades jump out of this brand-new deck of cards and squirt cider in your ear. But, son, do not accept this bet, because as sure as you stand there, you're going to wind up with an ear full of cider.

Your work is amazing as always. Still not crazy about the screws instead of the tapped look but it sure
is practical and adjustable. Great Job. Liners in the wedge shows your love of the process and attention to details.

Thank you, but I saw your work. This is awesome craftsmanship and I will have to train much more, to reach this level.

No, I dont use a liner. Im really not an expert in this question. The once time I used one, was with the redwood burl scales. There I used a 0,5mm brass liner. But I dont was very happy with this, because it was very hard to work with. Now I have here also 0,5mm aluminium, but I dont even tried it.
If it not absolutely necessary I work without liners.
