Reground Ashton & Jackson, Two Finger Notches, Fancy Carbon Fiber
Here is a personal razor of mine that I reground and rescaled. It is an Ashton & Jackson Improved Silversteel (Sheffield). Two finger notches which I duplicated in the scales which are carbon fiber. I did the internal cutout all by hand which was haaard to do to say the least. Solid brass washers and pins. Monster shaver. No I won't sell it. As always, comments and criticism are welcomed.

Sorry, I'm not taking on any more "projects". That means no scales, restoration, honing, you name it. Look for my custom razors in the future though!

Awesome job Alex. Those scales fit that blade perfectly.

Two questions:
1) Will you sell it? Oh wait, you already answered that.
2) Did you tape the spine when honing to get such an even spine? I'm sure you know many vintage wedges after honing without tape end up looking awfully uneven and even abhorrent.
Nice work, Alex!

Well the spine looks like that from regrinding it, but then when I honed it yes, I used tape. I often do on wedges now. Makes it a hell of a lot quicker too!
