Talking 9/8 Joseph Elliot Worked Spine Monster with Linen Micarta

This blade is from my own personal collection. I just rescaled it in Linen Micarta basically. It is in the condition I found it in except that I have honed and polished it. Great shaver by the way! I didn't want to mess with the blade really since the factory grind is still in tact and in amazing condition considering. The tapered spacer is G10 Micarta and offers a light contrast. Pins are brass/SS/brass stacked washers with nickel silver peened pins. The linen is soooo much better looking in person. You can really see all of the layers especially around the edges and in the hollowed center portion (X looking part) on both sides. The scales also mimic the worked spine which I enjoy. Anyway, comments and constructive criticism are welcomed. Thanks!

Sorry, I'm not taking on any more "projects". That means no scales, restoration, honing, you name it. Look for my custom razors in the future though!

Jeebus, what a beast. You could shave a woolly mammoth with that damn thing.

I like the scales, it really brings the huge blade and sweeping worked spine into perspective and makes it look balanced. Considering the SIZE of that scythe, that's no small feat!

love those scales with that blade u blended them together so well that even the factory it was ground at would believe it. i really like the finger groove you put in the scales it gives it a sence of balance while elegant to view. you need some sort of finger groove anyway because its heavy too i thought my 1 inch w&b was big wow
