Doc - It's no secret. Actually pretty simple process. You take the two scale blanks - in this case a piece of bubinga and a piece of eucalyptus, and you double side tape them together. You cut out any squiggly pattern on a scroll saw - but you have to be smooth and flowing with your cuts. You take blanks apart, swap the halves of the different species of wood and glue them up. Because you had them taped together during the cut, they'll be a mirror image of each other. After glue up, you just cut and shape however you please.
