W&B Hollow in Spalted Apple
This is one that just came off the bench....
A 6/8 Spike point W&B Hollow grind in Spalted Apple scales (cutouts by request) with NiAg hardware, the wedge is Brown Ebony...... Just couldn't quite get all the pitting out on the hollow grind.....

Good job Glen.
A little pitting is easier to live with than 'the plink of death' from too much steel removal.
Love the scales & finish - oil ? - but not sure about the cutouts so much.

Looks great, Glen - the scales are wonderfully unique...and don't worry about the pitting - I'm working on a W&B with the same problem...just look at it this way, it's a 100 years old, and a few "wrinkles" add character!

Wow !!!! Just finished honing this one, this is the first W&B that I have taken to the hones that didn't have some kind of warp or unevenness in there someplace.... Nice smooth even bevel, and OMG what a smooth shaver....
Normally I test just part of the shave on each razor, you only have so much face, and between restores, and honing razors, I don't usually get an entire shave in there.... but I had time on this one... This has to be the smoothest W&B I have ever tested, as most of you know I am not a huge fan of stiffer grinds, or larger razors but this one really impressed me with how she handles....
Somebody is getting a nice shaver heading home in the morning.......
