Talking Trip to Germany - I need your German help

Hello Gents,

In the beginning of August, I'm going on a work trip to Germany for a couple of days. I'm going to Cologne and then to Wuppertal. I'm looking at the map and Solingen is not that far away

What do you German gentlemen suggest me to look for in these places to grab some nice straight razor material? Any good flea markets/ antique stores?

Thank you

Köln and Aachen are both full of antiqueshops, though some can be hard to find. Lots of arms/survival dealers have some hones, strops and sometimes straigh razors.
If you're also looking for DE razoers, they sell 'm even at a lot of supermarkets.

and BTW, if you like whisky go to the Lidl and buy a bottle of Queen Margot for about 6€, you'd be suprised at the quality for such a cheap whisky

I've never been to Solingen, so I can't really tell you anything. However, after watching that Dovo video someone posted, showing start to finish razor production, I'd be very interested in seeing/touring the factory if I were going to Solingen. Not sure if they even allow that, but it looks very cool.

Thank you for your replies. Also a big thank you to BeBerlin who posted my request for information on nassrasur in German.

I was in Köln (Cologne), it's a beautiful city. You will enjoy your time there.
