I've been shaving with a straight for 28 years and I still find myself wishing that I could shave more than once a day. I guess I'm just a case of arrested development: fixated at the newbie stage.

Others of us grow beards in three days and wish we could occasionally get away with going to work only having shaved the night before.
I can only grumble a little about that though. Since I discovered straights it isn't nearly so bad. Darn! Now I guess I get to go shave again, wait, have to! I ummmm, have to shave again! Insert fegined disappointment as I trudge off to the bathroom.

Having shaved more years than has already been quoted in this thread I can tell you I don't particularly like shaving anymore than I have to. I do like the feeling of a good, close shave. Somethig uniquely masculine about shaving. I also give my ugly puss a day of rest once a week.

Never. I could shave twice, even maybe 3 times a day with the hair I have.
The problem is my skin, way too sensitive.

You guys think you have it bad. My uncle got me into DE razor shaving when I was turning 16. Now I'm 17, into straights, and only get to shave once every 3-4 days It's mere tourture.

Once a day is just fine with me, although with my beard I simply cannot skip a day (unless
that day is reclusive or mostly so).

Why you poor guys. I have just the thing for you. A bottle of Dr Grimaldi's Electric Hair growth Tonic. Just a ittle application in the morning and by noon you'll look like bigfoot. Only $200 for a one ounce bottle. Dr Grimaldi guarantees it and if it doesn't work you can contact him at Greenwood Cemetery Brooklyn, N.Y for a full refund. I understand he still has an agent in Pakistan who will sell it to you.

Subsequent investigation revealed the razor belonged to Toshiro Kawasaki a WWll Kamakazee pilot who was killed when his plane slammed into the USS Yorktown. His last act was to shave with that razor. It is suspected the razor is haunted.

I totally wish it would grow faster. I don't like waiting 24 hours to shave again. I would love to be able to shave more than 1 time a day.

If I let it go more than a day the shave isn't as enjoyable. I get the 5 o'clock shadow around 2 o'clock. At least I'm not balding though

Don't worry, in a few years you'll likely join the every day club. Then in a few more years you'll probably be getting hairs where you really don't want them!
