Default Well stocked shaving store in Boston area?

Greetings,

Is anyone aware of a store in the Boston (MA) area that stocks a good variety of (primarily British) shaving supplies? I am a happy customer of Vintage Blades LLC, but smelling the different shaving lotions and care products is difficult to do over the internet.

Thanks,
Cheese

Look into Colonial Drug in Cambridge (sorry, not exactly Boston). They have a pretty outstanding rep from what I've read on the boards. I think they also carry Plisson brushes.

NP. Please make a full report after you visit. I haven't been yet, but I'm hoping to get up there one of these days. Enjoy.

Hi Cheese,
I have been to Colonial Drug and it is brush heaven! The soap assortment (including Tabac) isn't bad ether.

Colonial Drug
49 Brattle St (5 minute walk from the Harvard Square T stop)
Cambridge, MA
(617)864-2222

You can also try Leavitt and Peirce Tobacco (3 minute walk
from the Harvard Square T stop)

Leavitt and Peirce
1316 Massachusetts Ave
Cambridge, MA 02138
(617) 547-0576

There is an Art of Shaving At the Copley Place Mall.
(not a big selection and bring your wallet!)

Art of Shaving
Copley Place Mall
100 Huntington Ave.
Boston, MA 02116
617-236-0332

There is CO Bigelow listed at the Copley Place Mall (have not seen it).

CO Bigelow
100 Huntington Ave

Boston, MA 02116
(617) 236-7257

I hope this helps.
Sean

Wow Stagehand, I didn't know there were so many options.

I will put your list to good use.

My wallet is already starting to ache in anticipation...
