DFW Fall Get-Together
Alright DFW straight-shavers, it's time to start planning the fall get-together! Knowing us, it'll take a while to get everything worked out but we always have fun. I've been talking privately to a few of the DFW guys, and thus far it's looking like late September might be do-able... I'm assuming we'll meet in the same place (Sherlock's in Arlington) but I will call them up once planning is underway to make sure it's all cool.
Alternately, we can look at different venues, but that's up for discussion.
SO, DFW folks, when and where?

Barring major scheduling conflits, I'll be there. Sherlock's is a great location in my opinion.

Any more details on this get-together? I'm interested...also - where is Sherlocks? Google map lists three. I'm just past the west side of FW. I've yet to meet in person any other straight razor users.

Hooters is a thought. Just a thought. I'm down for whenever, I just need as much notice as possible so that I can request off from work. I need to turn in schedule requests two weeks prior to guarantee that I am available, but I do pull enough weight that I can probably strong-arm them in to with only a week's notice. It'll be good to see you all again and to meet the newbies. I'm looking forward to showing off my gear which is quite excessive compared to my starter kit only set that i came with at the last meet-up. Keep me posted and once something has solidified, please let me know. Jockeys, a text will be appreciated...
Thanks,
Adam

Being fairly new to the hobby still, I would most likely attend. If anything, to ask all sorts of tired old questions.

I may be down for a trip up to the Big D. I will definitely ride share and possibly be willing to drive any other Austin folk who want to attend. I should be able to make 10/25 but most weekends are good for me. Keep us posted!
Cheers,

OK Dammit
OK, I am in as well - been lurking a while - but I am still around, I still need to hook up with John Crowley too, and spend some casssshhhhh.
Keep me in the loop boys, last time I couldn't make it because my face met with a concrete sidewalk the day before, but I am all healed up and scarred over, and ready to go.

10/25 is ok for me, but we absolutely cannot move it back to 10/26 cause i'm leaving the country that day.
sherlock's still a good central location for everyone?
