Wow, I never realized what an odd angle that is to shave the back of one's legs. I hope you have something non-slip in that bathtub ... that looks dangerous.

Congrats on getting a nice shave.
I am not knowlegable in the topic of leg shaves, but wouldn't it more comfortable (not to mention safer) to sit on the side of that bath?

+1 on that actually. For the same reason I dont shave in the bath or in the shower. Slipping with a razor in my hand could be dangerous....

Did not realize the angles that you would have to manipulate the blade until seeing that. Good job! Congrats for taking up the art or straight shaving!

When I shave my girlfriend's legs I can go ATG on the first pass. Since the hair is not all that dense or coarse, it wasn't a problem.

shaving makes the hair grow back thicker and coarser, in particular when you shave ATG. Not sure she'll thank you for that but what do I know....

I have found it is definitely more comfortable to sit on the edge of the tub when shaving my legs. I have to stand up and reach around to get behind the knees but I am standing on the bath mat and not the slippery tub.

I have been waiting to intro my wife into straights, right now she uses a DE. How did it go for her? How about shave quality/speed?

Back in the days when I still needed several tries to get a shaveready blade, I tested on my arms and legs.
I found that on arms and legs, wtg or atg doesn't really matter because those hairs are much softer.

he is in MASSIVE TROUBLE!!
he's NEVER allowed to watch me shave AGAIN!!
Will take him a new Birdwing Damascus Frank Warner razor to win his way back into my bathroom and bedroom again!! And since he cannot afford it, well lets just say you won't be seeing photos like these EVER again!
