Pearl Pics ooo
Ok, so now i have permission to be a proud husband (ie she let me, because there are no bad angles, daggy undies etc)
So here it is, how a REAL lady shaves (how about those weird positions? And they think we look funny when we pull faces in the mirror )
And for the guys who saw the last thread, she says its not that slippery in the bath but actually prefers it out now cause she has something higher to put her foot up on.

Nope thats not the Frank Warner Birdwing that Buckler owes me that I am using, it's just my English 4/8 I bought from Simon (Couly)
You'll know about it when those other razors are up for sale he'll post some pics here!!
There REALLY nice razors too!! the best in his collection so far
I reckon he'll get $80 minimum per razor (esp coz if the pictures I've taken of them
And he was going to sell them to get a hone anyway! So he's got a hone now, and he owes me for the horrid event! So no guilt here for my tantrum

Wooohooo!! Well done Pearl.
Great to finally see you too.
I know I made a complete mess of my shave. In my defence it was the worse shave I've ever had, I've never sliced myself like that before, so.
While you and Lilith seem to be heading up the how to do things properly side of things in comparison my thread shows how not to do it.

Well done Pearl!
Braver than me. I'd never take a razor to my pins.

SO, does she use a smaller (e.g. 4/8") razor to shave?
I'm just thinking if that might be more of a niche for the smaller razors?
Great work!
The long arm, reaching back shave is impressive. I have a hard enough time trying to not nick my face with a more 'traditional' hold on the razor, let alone using a 'hat-trick' style! Bravo!

(P.S. I'm happy to see that my wife is not the only one using the green mud-mask!)

I wish I walked into my bathroom and saw this! My wife thinks straight shaving is ridiculous and thinks my suggestions to her to consider wet shaving for her to have more comfortable shaves are beyond silly and she just laughs at me. At least some women have seen the light about wet shaving.

yes I have been using a narrower blade (a 4/8 as opposed to a 6/8) to start with in my first couple of shaves,
but in my last shave I got more adventureous and I tried wider ones. I think they were 6/8s of different lengths. The main thing for me is rounded toe and heel. If they are spikey or pointy then I will not use them. I trieda short lengthed one the other day someone sent my hubby for me to test. I liked the length and width (wider holds more cream and is heavier thus easier to manouver) but it was not rounded and I cut myself
and I must add that my hubby is fantastic at honning!! I used the razor that was his first home honing job and it was fab!!!
