I am pretty sure II can get that area sharp. HOwever, I am not sure that the blade is compromised. When I ran it against my cheek on a sharpness test, the tip dragged into my skin as the rest of the blade ran smoothly.
Could I get you or would you suggest another to take a look at it?

I was told you are the go to guy about this issue. I'd appreciate your imput. I can send the razor and pictures as you might need.

I have honed @ 30 str8s successfully to this point. I have recently acquired a very nice, close to unused, Griffin CM. When honing I can't seem to get th last 1 inch (point) to sharpen adequately. I tried a test shave and first stroke I felt the end digging into my skin. Although not readily visible, the end seems to either be slightly twisted or slightly bent toward that one side. I've done the mmt and that side clears off the marker. The other side does not completely do this. When laying the blade on its side on a flat surface, I can feel one side level and the other slightly elevated. THere is a difference
Any thoughts about rehabilitating this? This is the first I've seen with this type problem.
