I am buying a Dovo "Pearlex" 5/8 high carbon, full hollow round point from user Obie. He told me you honed it. This makes me even more excited to use it.

It helped me alot. Pretty simple but, as you said, straight razoring has/had become a lost art.

Hi Lynn I just received My order from SRD today that I placed Thursday night. Boy was I surprised to see it that soon. I watched the whole DVD today and look forward to reviewing it more.
I'm also very impressed with the care taken in packaging everything.
It was like an early christmas unwrapping every thing. And I truly look forward to doing more shopping at SRD.

Hi Lynn...I have one of my sweet blades on the way to you for honing and I am certain that it'll be in great hands. It's a Frederick Reynolds 7/8 Wedge...It tugs and pulls a bit...also, I think it sits unevenly on the hone (I didn't try honing it)...I would look forward to your evaluation and assessment of what you think I should do with it (aside from Honing)
