Talking Hello everyone!

hi my name is Wes. i just got into straight razor shaving about 6 months ago and can never go back. i don't know what it is. i am now taking on the project of sharpening a damaged razor that i found at the local knife shop. i know it is a bit of an advanced project for where i am at right now i but i figure i'll just take my time and seek as much advice as possible. my other hobbies include custom harley building, playing guitar, keeping fit(yes i consider this a hobby) and astronomy. sometimes they keep me a little too busy but i don't mind. i am also obsessed with World Superbike and MotoGP. so that's my info. now lets get on with me sucking all the info out of this place as i can.

Welcome to SRP, Wes.

You may want to check the restoration and the honing sections. Also the wiki has an article from one of our members how he approaches honing ebay razors with chips/damaged edges.
