The Butcher Shop
[Soooo......it appears that we need to start a few things over again here on SRP. I'll reopen the doors on The Butcher Shop right away. I'm sure once Doc hears things are running again he'll get The Boker Brotherhood up as well. I don't want to step on his toes, so I'll just wait for him.]
Everyone is welcome to post their pictures/stories/facts about the wonderful Wade & Butcher straights on this thread!!

Thanks for posting Gary! Your pieces are always welcome here! I was looking forward to seeing those yesterday but due to the obvious problems.....lol....I guess I need to wait another day. It might just be time for me to acquire one of your straights.....

Well, I didn't save any of the pics that I posted here last time, but I just did a head count, and realized that I'm up to .... 12 Wade & Butcher's so far (bought another three yesterday for under $25 a pop). I guess it might be time to change my title

Well I guess I better get the caffine IV ready and put the Depends on because I am going to sit in front of the computer all day for one of those too.

Okay, I guess I'll do the best I can without a digital camera. You'll just have to forgive the shi y quality of the pictures.
First of all, here are my BOW razors. These are all square tip 6/8, though one or two might end up closer to a 5/8 because of dings in the edge, etc. I really lke these razors; they're not very fancy, but the steel is excellent, and they have a nice heft for their size. As you can see, they come in a number of different handle materials.
enjoy

Here we have a simple 5/8 square point similar to the one Eric posted.

Nice! I've got one more "Bow" but it's a blade-only and will soon receive some custom scales. I hope that more of the other guys come back and re-post their W&B's as well!

Here you see my four W&B Specials. These all seem to be 5/8, and they come in both a round point and a square point version. Very nice shavers, and really excellent steel.

5/8 Square point "Our Very Best" I really like the etching on this blade, but it has a lot of honewear, and some pitting on the back face.

...and finally, my first venture into chopper territory. This blade is not that huge, but I really like the shape. It'll have to be rescaled, but I thought this might be a fun project.
