She's a beauty Mike, and a fine shaver. I'm glad I managed to get one of them when Doc had them up for sale!

One of these days in your travels, a guy is going to show you a brand-new deck of cards on which the seal is not yet broken. Then this guy is going to offer to bet you that he can make the jack of spades jump out of this brand-new deck of cards and squirt cider in your ear. But, son, do not accept this bet, because as sure as you stand there, you're going to wind up with an ear full of cider.

I'm pretty sure that Doc only had 3 or 4 of them and sold them all. If I remember correctly they were $100 each. IMHO a very reasonable price for the quality of the razor.

Not sure if this is the right thread for me...
But I just picked up my first ever straight razor (Is that what they are called?) I am from sweden so might not get all the words just right.
But I found this thread and mine is a solingen. Its a brand new one. But sofar I enjoy the looks and the feeling of it, cant wait to try and use it.
I also ordered a original "HEROLD - SOLINGEN" with 2 sides for sharpening.
Here is a picture of my blade.
