The Sophisticated Solingen's
Alrighty, in the ever-growing threads about the many different razors out there I present The Sophisticated Solingen's.....lets take a look at all of those made by Revisor, Kickuth, Pfeilring, Charlescraft, Herbert Wacker, Navaja, Rich Luders, Paul Pluker, Horstator, WKC, Robuso and all those others not-so-often seen works of art out of Solingen, Germany!

But actually I do think the file work looks neat in an abstract sort of way!

OK, guys, here's another fancy one - antoni tadross. picked her up on the bay, you can tell in her young age she must have been considered quite purdy, and some of that is faded now, or perhaps our tastes have changed...
there was some gunk all over her, which is pretty much gone with some maas.
i'm not sure if the stains will come off the scales, so far mass and a bit of alcohol doesn't seem to help.
in any case the bling may end up too much for me, but one of these days it'll have her honed and see her in action,...

I hope so! I shaved with it for the first time (after stropping) straight out of the sealed plastic inner sleeve and it shaved fairly well, but felt slightly harsh and I could see a fairly coarse scratch pattern on the bevel. So I took her to my coticule and did maybe 50 laps with a light slurry and 15 with plain water. Then she shaved terribly. So I went back to the coticule and did more laps with a light slurry until water was spilling over the entire edge on both sides, then 20 with plain water, and, finally, 50 on my Chinese 12K. I got a pretty good shave after that, but she's not yet my best shaver.
Any suggestions on really helping her shine?

Yeah, I felt really lucky to find it on ebay recently. It had just been listed (an hour before I happened to be browsing) with a "Buy it Now" price of $75. You know the rest of the story.
