This is a thread for posting pictures of your favorite DD's that aren't a DD!
Here we have a Beau Brummel No.#18 5/8's square point! Beautiful razor!

Forgive my poking my nose in but I thought BB's and DD's were both made by Bresduck?

Actually all the DD companies be it Bresnick or bresduck or pearlduck were barber suppy houses and they didn't manufacture a darn thing. All of their razors were made by other people. Beau brummel was originally marketed by them as well as others. Later on pearlduck got to be exclusive distributer of BBs and those BBs have the address of the company as jamaica N.Y which is where pearlduck was located. You can tell the later BB's because the early ones say Beau Brummel Werk on the tang while the later ones just say Beau Brummel razors.

Sparks, Nevada Police report last night Homer La Fong Died while shaving with his straight razor. His wife reported he was using his Iwasaki Razor and while shaving his neck it just seemed to have a mind of its own and came to life and cut his throat. Subsequent investigation revealed the razor belonged to Toshiro Kawasaki a WWll Kamakazee pilot who was killed when his plane slammed into the USS Yorktown. His last act was to shave with that razor. It is suspected the razor is haunted.

Beau Brummels
Two Beau Brummel Werk's Razors:::: Both are stamped #35 but have slightly different logos....Both have the classic hammered tangs
1. A 11/16 Spike with black and gray scales
2. A 5/8 Spike with black and yellow scales

come on gentlemen step right up, step right up. A troubling situation has arrived in the razor club and that is the use of thumbnail pictures. I know that some of you old timers still remember when the razor clubs were a thing of beauty! with large glossy pictures of razors and we viewed until our hearts content. but those days are through it would seem. I beseech all the members of the razor clubs to take the poll in the general section and vote to restore large pictures to our beloved razor clubs. It is up to us gent and together we can restore these clubs to there former glory!!!!!!

One of these days in your travels, a guy is going to show you a brand-new deck of cards on which the seal is not yet broken. Then this guy is going to offer to bet you that he can make the jack of spades jump out of this brand-new deck of cards and squirt cider in your ear. But, son, do not accept this bet, because as sure as you stand there, you're going to wind up with an ear full of cider.
