One of these days in your travels, a guy is going to show you a brand-new deck of cards on which the seal is not yet broken. Then this guy is going to offer to bet you that he can make the jack of spades jump out of this brand-new deck of cards and squirt cider in your ear. But, son, do not accept this bet, because as sure as you stand there, you're going to wind up with an ear full of cider.

Well
Well, I posted this in the Show and Tell, but Doc suggested I post here as well. Here's a couple pictures of my new pride and joy, purchased today for fifteen dollars at a local antique shop.

I was wondering if anyone might be able to give me any information on this razor at all? I must admit, even though I haven't even sharpened it yet I am quite impressed, just by the balance and the weight.
It's a 5/8ths blade, devoid of any marking apart from 'H Boker & Co, Solingen' on the shank, I believe the term is, with Made In Germany opposide it on the back. There is also an inlay on the face of the blade reading 'King Cutter'. Other than this, I have no information on the razor at all, and I would appreciate any information at all.

Hey guys, just thought I would finally throw up some pictures of what I consider to be my favorite shavers. All are Bokers. The first pic has all 5 of mine. Top to bottom, left to right:
- Boker Unrivalled "Hollow Ground"
- King Cutter
- Just has "Pearl" etched into the blade the "H. Boker" on the mother of pearl tang cover.
- My 6/8th King Cutter
- My newest acquisition, a Red Injun 101
The other pictures are just some close ups of a couple of them. As you can see, I really like their razors! I haven't had the time to clean these up as of yet, but starting this weekend, I will be

Here's my entries into the Brotherhood. I also have a King Cutter and a Red Injun without any scales. When I dress em up I will post em here too.
This was my first Boker, an "our own" that I fell in love with.
this is probably the "fanciest" razor I have, it has etching on the spine too! A good shaver, but a little spine wear and waterspots make it less than perfect. I still like her though.
